Francesco Tavani

I am Francesco Tavani, an Italian landscape photographer based in Parma. For over 15 years, I have been photographing the beauty of natural landscapes around the world.

My work focuses on fine art landscape photography, exploring both iconic locations and hidden corners of the planet. I believe that every landscape tells a unique story: through my images, I aim to capture not only the visual beauty of a place, but also the emotions, atmosphere and sense of wonder that nature inspires.

My work has received recognition in several international photography competitions. In 2020, I was selected as a finalist for the SIPA Drone Award. In 2023, I received the Bronze Award at TIFA Tokyo and was selected as a finalist at BIFA Budapest.

In 2025, I won first prize in the Architecture category at the Photora Awards with “Sincity” and received an honourable mention in the Aerial & Drone category with “Alfheim”.

In 2026, I won first prize in the Architecture category of the Laowa Lovers competition.

Through photography, I want to create images that connect viewers with the timeless beauty of the natural world, inspiring a deeper appreciation for the landscapes that surround us.

For me, landscape photography is not only about capturing places, but also about preserving the emotions and stories that nature reveals to those who take the time to observe it.
